Meet our team
Sara Crowe, Founder and Agent
Sara has always had a book in hand and is still amazed she gets to help make them. She has 25 years of experience in the publishing world, with 8 in foreign rights, and 20 representing clients. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania and the Radcliffe Publishing course, she started her career at The Wylie Agency, where she went on to sell foreign rights in Wylie’s London office. She was a foreign rights manager at Trident Media Group, an agent and foreign rights manager at Harvey Klinger, and a senior agent at Pippin Properties before she founded Sara Crowe Literary.
Sara represents a diverse group of children's and adult fiction and nonfiction; everything from picture books to graphic novels to literary fiction and adult romcoms. Her clients include Newbery and Printz medalists and honorees, National Book Award Finalists, Lambda award winners and finalists, and NYT Bestsellers. Sara is based in Milton, MA.
Faith Lane, Associate Agent
Faith is an alumna of the Writers House Mentor Initiative and the Sourcebooks Editorial Training Program, and holds a Humanities MA (English/Gender and Sexuality Studies) from the University of Chicago and an English BA from Pepperdine University. Faith grew up in Las Vegas and has lived in Malibu, Buenos Aires, and now, Chicago.
Faith loves her books authentic, immersive, and precise. Across the board, Faith is looking for punchy atmospheric reads, realistic characters, underrepresented voices, and attention to detail. She is open to literary fiction, upmarket fiction, gothic horror, historical thrillers (especially 19thC), unique twists on tropes, and racial, gender, or neuro- diversity. Faith is not the right person for dystopian stories or science fiction (unless very heart-forward) or books where the dog dies.
Faith also works with SteelWorks Literary as an associate agent.
Kasey Poserina, Contracts Manager
Kasey Poserina previously worked at Simon & Schuster as a Contracts Director. Prior to working at Simon & Schuster, Kasey was the Associate Director of Business Affairs at a major New York literary agency, where she worked with over ten literary agents reviewing and negotiating book publishing agreements, audio publishing agreements, publishing agreements with British and foreign language publishers, first serial licenses, film agreements, and author-writer collaboration agreements. She lives in Westport, Connecticut with her husband, Ron, and their son, Ben.
